BHT-3021 for Type 1 Diabetes
Bayhill Therapeutics is currently conducting a multi-center, randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled cross over phase I/II trial evaluating BHT-3021 for the treatment of type 1 diabetes in type 1 diabetic patients. BHT-3021 is Bayhill’s second investigational drug developed from the BHT-DNA platform. The goal of BHT-3021 is to reduce or eliminate the immune system’s attack on the pancreas, thereby shutting down the disease process which gives rise to type 1 diabetes.
Additional data for both physicians and patients regarding both of these trials will be posted on this page in the near future.
